Senise Ferrari - A Concept Study
Introduction
This is a concept study made in order to explore possible design directions for a: “one of a kind” customized Ferrari based on the Enzo chassis. The study has been divided into three different conceptual directions.
The concept is based on inspiration from the Senise Group and elaborated by the Norwegian architect Petter Yran, who is the project manager. Design and sketches in this presentation are elaborated by Jonas Esdale and Martin Meiholt.
The first concept is a gentle retouch of the current Enzo. The main body shape has been kept and only a few features have been changed to create a slightly different look, without re-bodying the entire vehicle. Only the front and rear panels are changed. The section also includes some sketches of possible Enzo based alternate bodies.
The second concept is a totally rebodied Enzo, inspired by the Senise Destiny Super Yacht.
The third concept is a series of sketches moving toward a more futuristic Ferrari Enzo.

Concept One – The Enzo retouched
In the restyling of the Enzo we have tried to capture the purity and smoothness of a classic Ferrari and blend it with the edgy racing look
of a Formula 1 car. We also wanted to add the Senise corporation`s “globe signature” in our concept by making a large glazed canopy.
The section also includes some sketches of possible Enzo based alternate bodies.

Concept Two – Stealth form inspired
Edgy aesthetics have been used on boats like the: “Wallypower”, but applying facets to a car like Ferrari is a challenging task. Ferrari has historically been known for their classical, aerodynamical and smooth rounded bodies. In order to successfully apply faceted aesthetics there should be some connection to the brand. Inspiration could come from the Formula 1 cars of the 70`s and 80`s where sharp edges had aerodynamic function. The “stealth Enzo” concept should also be inspired by road going supercar predecessors like the F40, 512BB and 288GTO. In addition to the general “stealth” inspiration, we have also allowed ourselves to be inspired by the Senise Destiny Super Yacht concept, which consists of a very triangular and faceted form vocabulary.

Concept Three – Futuristic concept
The third concept is a series of
sketches moving toward a more
futuristic Ferrari Enzo. The design
is inspired by, science fiction
and technology in the borderland
between mechanics and biology.
The inspiration should only be
applied to the shape of the body.
